Videography
The promotional videos shown below are for the Free Business Attire Pop Up Shop. All videos were independently shot and edited by me using Adobe Premiere Pro. The equipment I used was a Canon DSLR, a tripod and a lavalier mic.

These videos were presented at I-SCORE, also known as the Iowa State Conference on Race and Ethnicity, in February 2024 to promote the important work this multicultural program has done for the ISU student body. The purpose of I-SCORE is to develop awareness of racial and ethnic issues in higher education and the country, while addressing multiculturalism in the classroom.
Pop Up Shop's Beginnings & Mission
This video was taken shortly after the Fall 2023 event. Since I was able to attend and assist the occasion, I took photos and videos that later came in handy for B-Roll.

The College of Human Sciences has only a few cameras and tripods in circulation. Therefore, you may see shaky B-roll that was shot in my phone since I couldn't access a camera during that time. I tried to use the warp stabilizer filter on Premier Pro, and it became more stable as a result.
You may also notice the name "Samuel Bonner" at some point in the video. He is a student that came in to take photos for a journalism class. He gave me permission to use his images, so I gave him well-deserved credit!

Student Testimonials
The students selected from this video were giveaway winners from a student survey mentioned in the website's tab, ISU Pop Up > Advertising Impact. I was amazed by the genuine feedback from these students. It's a completely different experience reading the responses of the survey, and hearing about it in person. It was such a pleasure to edit this video. However, I know that there are some ways I can improve for next time.
Some things I would do again, is having the camera in the relatively same position throughout the video. The reason it wasn't is because the recordings were set at different times since we had to work around student's class schedules. I chose to shoot the testimonials in the hallway because we had the most natural lighting. Due to the the different times of day that these videos were taken, the amount of natural light changed and was inconsistent throughout the video. The camera's tripod was also hard to stay at a consistent point of reference because some people's heights varied and ranged from 5" to 6" and we had to be cognizant of foot traffic. Despite these challenges, I think the end result came out very pleasant and I'm proud to have it presented at I-SCORE!
The videos featured below are projects done for the Iowa State University course, JLMC 307: Digitial Video Production. All videos were independently shot and edited by me using Adobe Premiere Pro. The equipment I used in these videos was a Canon EOS Rebel t6i, Manfrotto AL Tripod, and a Rode VideoMic Pro+.

How-To Video
This was my first project for the Digital Video Production class. It was also my first try using Adobe Premiere Pro. I wanted to incorporate my video techniques with my love for flowers. This video will also end up being used as the Horticulture Club's sale training video for the Flower Bouquet Sale! There was a time constraint of keeping the video under 3 minutes. Therefore, I had to go faster with my narration and shots! Despite a few minor mistakes, I'm very pleased with the overall result of my first try! The screen of the video may be black, but once you press play the video will work normally!

News Package
For the second project, we had to create a 1:30 min. news package about any topic of interest at Iowa State University. I decided to do my project on TRIO, which is an amazing organization that not many people know about. Learning from the mistakes I made in my previous project, I attempted to make this video flow at a natural pace. If I were to change anything it would be to have less jumpcuts, have more b-roll, and to have a transition shot between my interviewees.
